Nybon Nursing School Under Investigation

I finished my LPN-RN program from Carleen Health Institute. I took the NCLEX under New York state board and passed the exam. I'd been waiting on the license a couple of weeks and decided to call NYbon, was told the school is under review - hence they would not be issuing any licenses till the review is done. They also wouldn't give a time frame. Does anyone have any idea how long these reviews usually take or what could be done in situations like this?

I recently took RN board in New York pass now the school I went to in Florida is under review been almost 3 months now. Is  anyone in the same boat as am, please can you send me a text

Yes, when calling the NY BON they are not doing Verification/ Certification that your information can be sent to another state

Does anyone have any advice or know how long it can take to review a school that is now closed my ( life )world is on hold

@mendez yes that's one of the schools on the list. Nybon is very tough once they get enough info they will put school on hold. It's unfortunate for students. But bad students and bad practices make it bad for others. It's all a waiting game

Hi so I contacted ny BON nursing and they won’t send results to a different state even if you put in the request earlier before that law was passed..I feel so stucked I don’t know what to do ?

Did they say what your options were. Would u have to go to another school and take NCLEX again?

No she only told me they can’t transfer anything at this time until further notice and I already started the process in fl they only need my results RN to issue me a license
