NY Presbyterian Nursing Attendant position

Hi fellow nursing people. So I got an interview for a nursing attendant position at NYP at the infant cardiac ICU unit as a junior BSN student. The interview went well, my interviewer was nice and engaging.

Near the end I got told that orientation will be in the first week of April prior to starting the externship. But I will still be at my school (go to college in PA, live in NY) so I am worried that I will have to miss classes and clinical for a week if I get/accept the position.

Has anyone been in the same boat as me? I would really want to position but I really don't know if I could afford to miss classes, clinical, and getting back home (do not have a car sadly). Anything will be greatly appreciated!
