I am a nursing student finishing my ADN by August 2019 I will be applying for my bachelors in spring of 2020. But here is my delema, my husband got a job offer we cant refuse to NYC will be living in manhattan for atleast 2 years. But since I will just be finishing my Nursing and wont have my bachelors till 2020 I dont know if NY hospitals hire nurses without a bachelors. And I have read several articles here stating that there is surplus of new nurses looking for a residency in NYC and its hard to find. I know by the time I start applying for the Nursing jobs I will be enrolled in the bachelors program but there is so much I am uncertain about.
1. Will they even hire a RN only (new graduate) without a bachelors
2. How to get a NY license and the length of time it takes( I am from florida)
3. Is there any other license or certifications I need to get before I even apply
4. Should I get a work experience here in florida before I move?
It would help if any nurses could give me an advice on where to start?
