QUESTION: Can I register with Pearson Vue after the New Year? The ATT 90 day countdown doesn't really start until I register with Pearson Vue right?

anyone? the plan is to take Nov and Dec as additional mounts to refresh/prepare and then begin the official 90 day countdown in January..

thoughts? anyone?

Can I wait until January to Register with Pearson Vue and then contact the NY BON to Release my ATT?

Right? that would then trigger the 90 day period upon which we have to take the nclex.. right? anyone?

Yes you can wait to register with Pearsonvue. Your eligibility usually is for 5 years and only once you register with Pearsonvue will your ATT be released

Silver, thank you :) clear concise answer I was looking for.. to be honest, I sort of knew it (needed re-affirmation) but did not know of the 5 year eligibility!!!

what happened was my wife was approved on Sep 13 but was leaving for Vacation on Sep 18 and returning Oct 6! so I contacted the NY BON and this was their reply: "You can wait until you are ready to register with Pearson Vue. Once you register and contact us to release your ATT, you will have 90 days to schedule and take your exam."

I however need further re-assurance so I asked here.. our plan is to register with Pearson on January after the new year which gives us a 3 month window to take the nclex :) thank you once again!
