Had to start a new thread for more random questions and answers...
To the seniors and graduates: Did you have to take a HESI Critical Thinking test? We got an email today from Mrs. V saying that there is a test the first week of class and that there is no way to study for it. She didn't even tell us if it was graded and/or how much of our grade it was worth. If you did take a test like this, was it hard? Is there truly no way to study for it? I know what critical thinking is because I have started reading, but I still wanted to know if there was a general way to approach a test like this.

In teaching, we joke about all the different (and very bizarre at times) acronyms we have...looks like that isn't singular to teaching!
But I have to give props to whoever decided to name our standardized tests 'SOLs'. Ha!
