Nursys - am I supposed to use it?

I'm applying for licensure in PA, currently I have a FL license. According to nursys, FL is a listed state however PA is not. Am I supposed to sign up with nursys because FL is listed or NOT sign up and send a paper verfication form because PA is NOT.

I am so confused. :bugeyes:

I would check the BON website for PA and it should tell you what you need to do for endorsement for that state.

I would call the PA board of nursing and ask. I am also unclear of their process even after reading the information on their website.

I tend to think that you would use nursys for verification of licensure. It states at nursys that all boards of nursing have access to their website and information.
