Does the program's application require that the transcript be verified in NursingCAS? In mine, I was able to manually put in my course information, and it could be unverified without issue. I believe that information was on one of the pages that contained overall program info.
Otherwise, the program may be okay with taking the application as long as NursingCAS verifies that they have at least received the transcript, but it probably depends on the program, unfortunately.
Hello,
I recently ran into a similar issue. My school wasn't closed however, I had to wait until one of my final grades was posted to my transcript before I could send it and that took a bit.
Once posted, I got my transcript from the school, mailed it overnight at the post office on Monday 12/18, and I got an email from NursingCAS on Thursday 12/21 saying that my transcript had been received and processed.
In the midst of this, I updated my new grade on NursingCAS in the transcript entry section.
I'm not sure how close you are to your school/ if your school offers overnight or priority mailing for transcripts but, I think you should be okay to get everything done by the deadline!

I am applying to a nursing school using NursingCAS program and am not able to send my official transcript over until Jan. 3rd because my college is out for holiday. Does anyone know if I am still able to submit my application for my nursing programs by my Jan. 15th deadline if NursingCAS hasn't verified my transcript?? I have every other part of the transcript done and ready to send in except the transcript being verified which i hear takes weeks to be completed... Im freaking out that I may not be able to submit my application in time. If anyone knows anything about this please help!
