Nursing theory in Mexico

Hi :welcome:

I am study my MSN in Berlin, Germany, and like part of our master I should to make a presentation about the developtment of Nursing theory course in Mexico. well... than i thought ... what i can do?

so.. i designed a questionnaire according the thema and i sent it to 32 nursing faculties in Mexico. In total i sent 165 e-mails... since 1 month ago... my deadline is the next week, and from all these email just 1 university answered!!!!

is realy frustrated!!! what i supose to asume??? that don´t exist the nursing theory course in MExico???

The questionnaire was so easy

1. do you have Nursing theory courses in your study plan? yes, since when?

2. which book (s) were used in the beging ? were traslated in spanish? from which edition?

3. Actually, wich books are you using? are traslated in spanish? from which edition?

4. do you have Nursing Classification (NANDA; NIC; NOC; etc) courses in your study plan? yes, since when?

5. which book (s) were used in the beging ? were traslated in spanish? from which edition?

6. Actually, wich books are you using? are traslated in spanish? from which edition?

7. do you have research lines about some nursing theory in your faculty? yes, which theory?

This question were designed according the objectives that the people here in Germany what to know about "nursing theory signature in Mexico"

what you think that is happening?

well... for me is realy embarrassing :uhoh21: this situation because i am mexican, and when you are in another country everybody whant to know about your country... what´s going on there? and i can´t say.. "in mexico" because just i know about my state...

or also i can asume that ... not results, are also results?

anyway, what you thing?

Hello

Well as Mexican nurse who tried to get nursing documentos from my former nursing school, I did have a very hard time writing e-mails. NOBODY is going to e-mail you back unless you contact them by phone in advance and they agreed on doing the survey by e-mail.

Nusring faculty in Mexico is always busy. I am sure that if you contact them by phone and explain about your dead line they surely e-mail you back, but I have to say that sure enough you will be calling every day two to five times a day if you really want them to send you the questionary back.

Please let me know how I can help you in this. Whether to make the phone calls or contact other faculty, you tell me.
