I teach nursing (28 years). We had a dwarf complete our RN program some years ago. The only accommodation she requested was a stool to stand on as needed. She took it with her to clinical. She was excellent in the classroom and clinical. She was a fireball and very smart. She is now a nurse practitioner. Good luck!

I'm just taking prereqs right now, but on track to enter the University of Maryland School of Nursing BSN program in Fall 2026. I'm wondering if there's any other people who have gone through nursing school with dwarfism on here, and how your experiences have been? Or if you've gone to UMSON and have a physical disability, and would like to share your experience that would be great!
