Capstone Project Help

Hello all, I wanted to start off by saying that writing is not my strong suit. I am currently working on my capstone and have a literature review assignment. I feel like I have no guidance and the professor is not very good at timely responses to questions, hence why I am here. My project entails cervical cancer screening barriers in Latina women. The literature reveals that screening rates in Latina women are influenced by healthcare provider communication, social networks, access to care, and knowledge regarding cervical cancer and its causes and prevention. The outcome would be to improve screening by identifying barriers, facilitators and implementing strategies into a cervical cancer prevention course. In my literature review I am supposed to *Validate and refine the outcome you identified in your need proposal* . I am sorry for my ignorance but what kind of information do I need to validate my outcome? Do I find information in the literature that reflects screening rates improved after barriers, facilitators, etc were identified ? I am confused because I am also supposed to *select and critique potential intervention strategies and solutions for your identified need, target population, and setting, and support your choice with data and clear reasoning*... to me this sounds like the info I would provide to "Validate my outcome".

Please advise. I appreciate the help very much. Also, if anyone has any resources for Capstone writing I would appreciate it as well!

For an outcome, you are stating the WHAT of your project. WHAT you are going to acquire, accomplish, produce, deliver, etc. This is specific and - hopefully - MEASURABLE - accomplishments of your project.

To VALIDATE the outcomes, you give the measurable info. Basically, you are saying how valid the outcomes are. Giving evidence of that. At least, that's my take on it!
