scrubs catalogs?

hi, does anyone know of nursing scrubs catalogs that feature MADE IN USA items? my friend and i have enquired at a couple of online merchants (i forget which two at the moment) but both said that their products were all imported. (one got a bit rude and said WHY DO YOU THINK THEY'RE SO CHEAP?!?)

I googled "nursing scrubs" and the phrase "made in USA" and got 800 hits.

have checked out many of the online hits -- and found it strange that a lot of those brands are the exact same that the two online merchants carry, yet they are acknowledged to be "imports" by those two....in their print catalogs and their customer service replies via email.

Well, that's pretty crummy.

Do you know anyone who sews? Maybe you could give them some patterns and some fabrics that you like and they could run them up for you. Just a thought.

this actually sounds like a fun hobby to get into....once i learn how to work the dang sewing machine, that is!
