Nursing Schools that use Kaplan Entrance Exam?

Published

Hey Everyone,

I just took the Kaplan Entrance Exam today and got a score of 78%. From what I've heard, that's a good score. I know that my local university, University of Alaska Anchorage, uses this exam for their BSN admissions. What other schools use this exam for BSN admissions? All of the other schools that I've looked at use the TEAS or HESI (which I haven't taken yet). Thanks for the help!

The Kaplan is tailored to each school so you have to take the test from each uni that requires it. A lot of the WA schools use TEAS and UA associates programs now use HESI.

Did you get in the school you took it for? I got a 78% also a week ago for an LPN program. I was told that it was a "great score", but I still can't help but worry.
