nursing schools in north tx and or southern oklahoma

Published

I live in the sherman tx area and looking for RN or LVN schools that are less than an hour and half away. I don't want to go to grayson college RN (been there, didn't pass the second semester :imdbb:) I want to be a nurse and not giving up. I know about the school in Durant, paris, gainsville, el central and thats all I can find around here. Does anyone know any other school that I am missing or how I can find schools in the north tx and or southern oklahoma area?

Thank you so much

I will be a nurse! I will not give up!!!!!:flamesonb

Collin College in McKinney and Plano has a Nursing Program, as well as Brookhave College in Farmer's Branch. While I realize that one or both of those maybe outside of the 1 hour commute, both are viable options.

There is also Trinity Valley College. It's about the same distance from OK as El Centro except it is east of Dallas. But, Trinity only takes applications once a year. (in the fall) I go to El Centro and I'm starting 2nd semester Aug 23rd.

Specializes in interested in NICU!!.

have you givn any thought to amarillo college?

i know it's more than an hour drive, but ac has a good nursing program.
