Nursing schools in Chicago

I would like to hear your opinions on the nursing schools in Chicago. I am a senior in high school that will graduate in June, but have not an idea on where to apply. I would also appreciate it if you state the reason for why it is the right school.

Is it better to take general education at a state/community college and then transfer into the nursing program at a better known university?
