Hi Aishwarya,
That's a great question, and it's wonderful that your son is already thinking ahead about becoming a CRNA. The process takes time and planning, especially with visa considerations, but it's absolutely possible with the right steps.
To help you both understand the full path—from nursing school to becoming a Nurse Anesthetist—I recommend downloading this Free How-To guide: How to Become a CRNA: 8 Steps to Becoming a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist.
It walks through each stage clearly, from getting a BSN to ICU experience, CRNA school applications, and beyond. It should give you a solid roadmap to start planning early and confidently.

Hi,
Could someone guide the path of Nurse Anesthetist for my senior grad 2025,
He is currently on dependent H4 visa
Roughly thinking 4yrs of nursing school and then by 21yrs his visa would not be eligible for further studies, as he has to apply for OPT and then pursue higher studies, now after nursing he has to study for 6yrs more, could someone suggest is it safe to do Nurse CRNA during H4 till 20 yrs and when my kid is 21yrs what is the plan.
Anyone currently working in the same similar H4 situation could you please email me.
