I have just finished my first year in an ADN program, and I remember so well this time last year. I was on these forums almost constantly reading what I could and trying soooo hard to become prepared for the next two years of my life. Let me tell you, these posts are GREAT! No, it won't. Most people that I have talked to do their LPN/LVN 1st b/c they couldn't get into RN school. The program is usually 12-18mo then most programs make you wait 6mo before you can apply to RN. Then the RN program (without prereqs) takes at least 2 years...you can do the math on the amount of time....
