depends on what sort of school you are after. Are you interested in becoming a Registered Nurse, or an Endorsed Enrolled Nurse? RN training is conducted through universities, EEN training is through TAFE colleges/Hospitals

Universities require yr12 studies, or appropriate bridging course, or as an international student you may be asessed on something else (you would have to contact the specific university, im sorry i dont know an awful lot on admission requirements, other than going through the University Admission Centre, or UAC as it's known) and an IELTS test also. TAFE i think requires proof of proficiency in maths and english subjects. Visit the sites, the requirements will be on there.

Sydney Uni's that offer nursing courses include:

Australian Catholic University (ACU), North Sydney

University of Sydney, various campuses

University of Technology Sydney (UTS), various campuses

University of Western Sydney (UWS), various campuses

From the UAC search for nursing courses

There is also the University of Newcastle which has campuses in Newcastle (90mins form Syd) and on the Central Coast (about an hour from Syd)

There are many other NSW Universities that offer Nursing/Combined Nursing/Accelerated Nursing degrees. However these are further from Sydney.

TAFE NSW offers the EEN course through many campuses, best bet is to visit the TAFE website http://www.tafensw.edu.au/ and search for the Certificate IV or Diploma in Enrolled Nursing

Visiting these sites will give you specific requirements for the courses.
