Nursing school at 31 and 35.. Huge difference?

Published

0Im now 30 years old with a baby on the way. I graduated ubc with econ 6 years ago, and now I'm living in China bc of my husbands work here.

I really regret not going to nursing when I was back in Vancouver , and I had a talk with my parents the other day and they all said its not too late to go for my dream.

I'm giving birth this coming February and I was thinking of leaving the baby to my mom in Korea or in China with a babysitter/mother In law for three years while I'm at school in Vancouver.

However my husband was extremely mad about my idea with not being there physically when the baby is growing up. I also think I'm selfish but at the same time I want to pursue my dream.

If I can't go next year, I'm thinking of going to nursing after like three years when the baby is a bit grown up.

Do do you think going to nursing at 31 and 34-35 makes a huge difference? If you were me, would you just go to nursing when the baby is around 4?

I was was thinking about China and hongkong nursing schools but they are all 5 year program and the programs in China are not appealing to me. They are way back in tech/study program
