Nursing school at 31 and 35.. Huge difference?
0Im now 30 years old with a baby on the way. I graduated ubc with econ 6 years ago, and now I'm living in China bc of my husbands work here. I really regret not going to nursing when I was back in Vancouver , and I had a talk with my parents the other day and they all said its not too late to go for my dream. I'm giving birth this coming February and I was thinking of leaving the baby to my mom in Korea or in China with a babysitter/mother In law for three years while I'm at school in Vancouver. However my husband was extremely mad about my idea with not being there physically when the baby is growing up. I also think I'm selfish but at the same time I want to pursue my dream. If I can't go next year, I'm thinking of going to nursing after like three years when the baby is a bit grown up. Do do you think going to nursing at 31 and 34-35 makes a huge difference? If you were me, would you just go to nursing when the baby is around 4? I was was thinking about China and hongkong nursing schools but they are all 5 year program and the programs in China are not appealing to me. They are way back in tech/study program I need your help . Thanks!

Is 32 to late to go to a nursing program ?(ADN)
I will be 31 next year when I enter nursing associate program adn 3 year course. I'm not in the states currently so the only option now is to go for adn first. Is my age to old to start? By the time I finish I will be 34. I would like to hear opinions from current RN nurses or students. Thank you

Should I go for ADN or BSN at age 32?
Hello, I'm currently living in shanghai China and thinking of going into nursing school. I have a baby on the way so by the time I enter school I will be 32 years old. Is it too late to start nursing school? I have a bachelors degree in economics and also studied mba in fashion afterwards. My mom was a nurse officer in the past and she sometimes go to work even when she's at her age 60, it makes me think the job is very fulfilling. I'm married and living in China now so it's quite hard to find a nursing school taught in English. ive found one school taught in English, but it's an associate degree nursing program (3 yrs). It's partnered with bob jones university in the states and after graduation I can also take nclex RN exam. I see that there are many accelerated BSN programs in the states that let me finish in 1-2 yrs too, but I'm quite worried to leave my family in China for those years. In this case should I just go to ADN 3yr course in China and in the future if I want to further my study just go to USA and take the bridge program ? I'm concerned because I heard they don't really hire ADN nurses anymore. Also, does the school really matter?? The ADN course school here in shanghai is not well known at all. Having nclex RN certificate is more important than where you studied it right ? Please I need your opinions and help!! thank you :))
