Hello there,
I'm wondering what kind of grading school you have (or had if you're graduated now) in your nursing school. At the University of Portland an A is 95-100, A- is 91-94.9, B+ is 88-90.9, B is 83-87.9, B- is 80-82.9, and a failing score is below 73.
I'm trying to see if this is in-line with other nursing schools in the area. It seems like our A range can be near impossible sometimes. Especially since we don't round up or down (i.e. a 94.82 is a 94.82 or an A-).
Thanks,
Evan

Linfield:
No A+
A= 93-100 Generally no rounding
A-= 90-92.9
B+ = 87 - 89.9
B= 83- 86.9
B- = 80- 82.9
Below 73 is also a fail. I did wish that we had A+ grades to balance out the A- grades.

My nursing school grading scale here in Indiana was this:
A= 93-100
B= 83-92
C= 74-82
Anything under a 74 (with rounding used) was failing although , we had no
A-B+-C+-
Just FYI

At my nursing school:
A = 90 -100%
B = 80 -89%
C = 77 - 79%
Anything lower then a 77% does not pass.

Univ Wisconsin Milwaukee CON (BSN) grades as follows:
A 95-100
A- 93-94
B+ 91-92
B 87-90
B- 85-86
C+ 85-84
C 79-83
Anything below a 79 and you can not progress in the major, and must repeat the class until you earn at least a 79. Not for the faint of heart.
