nursing scholarships or loan repayment programs

do you know of any nursing loan repayment programs in michigan or nursing scholarships that individuals can apply for?:angryfire

check with your local board of nursing. I live in Cincinnati and in northern Ky (which is like 5 mins away) the kentucky board of nursing has a program for nursing students if you agree to work at a KY hospital for a year they give you 3k for school, 2 years 6k....you dont have to go to school in KY but have to work at a KY hosptial. I go to school in Ohio and live in cincinnati but will work at a hospital in NKY (10mins from my house).Maybe other BON's have t he same?

Also some hospitals here offer loan repayments when you sign on with them for a certain amount of time...one hospital if you sign on with them for 2 years will pay 5k off your loans (on top of your salary of course) per year.

There are some national ones as well but I cant remember the website...do a search on yahoo....good luck!
