[color=#00407f][color=#00407f]what do you see as your role in nursing research?
do you subscribe to or read any nursing research journals on a consistent basis?
if not, why do you not?
what might induce you to read and use research?
if you do subscribe to a nursing journal, what do you do with the information you read?
how do you solve problems or questions in the clinical setting?

i see it as a participant, an advocate, an observer, and a producer of research.
do you subscribe to or read any nursing research journals on a consistent basis? yes, and no.
if not, why do you not? i do subscribe to nursing research journals, but i don't necessarily read it on a consistant basis.
i think research is hard and tedious to read sometimes. what would intice me would be a standardized research publication format, so that i could easily find the information i need/ed.

it depends. sometimes i attempt to implement the research through a project proposal, sometimes i use the information to further my research efforts.

through prior experience, through adherence to facility policies, through reading evidence based practice guidelines, through searching research articles/topics, by talking with experienced nurses regarding a topic/problem, and by using local facility resources such as infection control to support or assist with solutions and problem solving.
good luck with your project and graduation.
