Where can I get access to online nursing reserach journals without subscribing?
Thanks!

If this is for a school research assignment, they would not expect you to subscribe. Your school's library should have access to the databases you need. Contact the librarian for help.

Google Scholar--go to Google, then at the top where it says "images, videos, shopping," etc., click the drop-down arrow next to More and click Scholar. That will allow you to look up journal articles and reference texts. You will still need a subscription to actually read a lot of them, but some have the complete text, and all of them at least have abstracts to get you started. Also, as LadyinScrubs said, your school library should have access to a huge database of journals (usually available online from your home). You may need to call them to sign up for access to it.

Ebsco host.com has PDF and HTML links to thousands of nursing articles from many data bases including Medline, Cochrane, Psych Info, etc. It's where I got articles for all of my research papers in college. Your school's library should be able to provide you with a general user name and password that will give you access. Also try going directly to the Cochrane website.
