Nursing Rejection Letter.

Published

Hi I have not finished my pre-reqs yet or even applied to the RN program but I just wanted to know what does the rejection letter say that you receive if you don't get into the program? Does it tell how many applicants applied, what the cutoff score is, and does your application roll over if you are not accepted? On average how many people apply to the nursing program? Also do most people get most of there points from their grades or there NAT testing?

Hi!

We didn't actually receive a letter, but an e-mail (love budget cuts). Those who got in were notified by a phone call.

My letter stated that we could roll over our application for Spring, and that places had to be cut due to budget cuts, yadda yadda. We could also call to set up a time for group advising (which I highly recommend, as they were able to talk to us individually and tell us exactly what we needed to do).

We were told at these group sessions why we weren't accepted, but the rejection letter was pretty general.

Hope this helps!
