I want to find an area of nursing I like. I think I have tried all of them. My biggest problem is I'm never confident and I doubt everything I do. I am looking for advice on two things a refresher course for nursing and any ideas on areas of care. I have a masters of health in wellness, grief counseling and certified as a trauma informed care practitioner through STARR commonwealth if that helps with any ideas. Thank you in advance.

Lack of confidence is a problem that can be improved by doing. Work in nursing, learn from your mistakes, learn the kind of instincts that only hands-on work will teach you. I wish there were an easier way, but confidence is hard-earned. Like learning to become a good rider means getting thrown off the horse many times, especially in the beginning.
Some people are the less confident sorts because it is their nature. I am one, but it doesn't stop me from getting out an being a nurse anyway. Nothing wrong with doubt either; it can keep you out of trouble, just don't let it dominate you life.
Will a refresher course really give you the confidence you are looking for? Is there a specific skill you can do some self-study on? There are lots of online learning resources to help you.
