Could anyone out there recommend a good nursing reference pocket book (I work on MedSurg/telemetry). I'm wanting fast info on IV drugs, other drugs, basic cares of different diagnoses, foods included in different diets, ect. I would like it to be small enough to fit in jacket pocket. Thanks!

RNotes and MedSurgNotes are pretty good, and you can write on them in pen and erase it later with an alcohol wipe. Check amazon.com or barnes and noble.. I got mine at B. Dalton

You might consider getting a PDA..I have a Palm and love it. I have the Nursing Constellation software on it, and it's got a drug guide, lab reference, clinical topics reference, clinical calculators, and a ton more stuff that I'm sure would be useful to a nurse (I'm still a student so I only use the basic stuff :D). It's been hugely helpful for me, and it fits in my scrub pocket.

Suggest you go to a Barnes & Nobles or some other bookstore and glance through the different pocket guides to find one that fits your specific needs.
