Nursing "Shortage"

Published

Is there really a nursing shortage in Rhode Island, or is it just a myth? I'm currently a nursing student and will be graduating next December. I'm already freaking out because I'm scared I won't be able to find a job, specially in RI.

Why are you "freaking out". So if someone on here tells you there is or is not what difference does it make? You are already about to graduate. Why did you not do this research prior to picking your major? You are going to be a nurse whether there is a "shortage" or not so you better focus on what you need to focus on. Even with a shortage it is not a guarantee you will get a job. "freaking out" solves what exactly? Finish school...and then apply for jobs. There are no guarantees in life.
