Nursing pre-req's

I need some advice regarding my Pre-requisites for Nursing School which accept applications in September. In order to make that deadline, I would have to do some clever planning but I just want to get some opinions from people who have already taken these courses first. I would take Microbiology as a regular semester over the summer (12 weeks), and during the 1st half of that semester...also taking Anatomy & Physiology I (Summer A - which is a 6 week course) then while finishing up the 2nd half of Microbiology, taking Anatomy & Physiology II (Summer B - which is a also a 6 week course). So, ultimately I would only be focusing on 2 classes at 1 single time, but the anantomy & physiology would be back to back and much shorter than a traditional semester. Plus, I have been told micro is a difficult course...but at least here I would be taking that for a full 12 weeks. I'm really worried that it's too much, but that's just what I hear. As Nurses and students aspiring to be a Nurse, what do you think? :-)

i took micro with a&p 2 without any problems. i also took psychology that same semester. the first words out of my a&p teachers mouth were, "do not take micro with this class!"....lol needless to say, i was hesitant like you. now granted, all my classes were 16 weeks long. a 6 week course is difficult. though i would agree that taking 2 science courses at a time can be done, i probably wouldn't take a 6 week science with a 12 week. just imo

you know yourself better then anyone else!

good luck!!
