I am searching for advice...I am an R.N. with a Master of Arts in Health and Wellness. I have been thinking about getting back into nursing, however I am not very confident and not good under pressure or stress. I know nursing is not about money. Right now I am a health Advocate for head start. What areas if nursing would be good for this type of person. I started an msn classes but I didn't finish the degree due to living in a rural place. Unfortunately classes expire and will have to be taken over again. Just FYI
Or what else could I do? Feeling stuck.

I am also not so good at dealing with a lot of stress but I have actually found that being a bedside nurse has increased my tolerance for stress and helped me become more resilient. Now little every day stresses don't get me crazy because they don't compare to the huge stresses I experience on the floor. However, this was a difficult journey! I think some areas that are a bit lower in stress are some clinic jobs, possibly public health (in an office setting, not out in the field) and some case management/utilization review jobs although I have heard that these jobs can still carry heavy caseloads. I have a friend who works from home coordinating bone marrow donations between the donors and recipients and she enjoys it. I don't think there are any nursing jobs that are absolutely stress free but I think there are definitely options if you want a slower pace and non-critical patients or even if you don't want hands-on patient care. Good luck! Also with your arts background I know some adolescent and adult psych nurses who enjoy combining their art skills with their psych nursing skills.
