I posted this in the management forum and didn't even realize this one was here! Sorry, I'm new, forgive me. :)
Anyway, I have an assignment where I need to interview a nurse manager. (I promise it isn't long.. well I hope it isn't) Anyone up for it? I would really appreciate it since I am having a lot of trouble finding someone in town that has time to take a student around with them. Thanks in advance.

Although I'm not currently working, I was in nursing managment in supervision for a number of years.
Daytonite, thank you for replying. I think I need someone that is currently working in the field, though. Technically the idea was I was supposed to observe a nurse manager at work. However, many of us are having a hard time finding either a manager that has time (understandable of course) or one that returns our calls! So, the questions include:
Describe the model of care delivery utilized on this unit or facility. Include:
o Model primarily used
o How many people he/she supervises
o The staff mix (ratio of RN, LPN, Unlicensed Assistive Personnel, etc)
Who assists her with supervision of staff and how much they do?
There's more questions, but basically that's the idea.
