Nursing job commute

Published

Hi all,

im new here I recently just graduated from nursing school and have been interviewing for jobs and I was wondering if any of you all commute to work, and how long? Also, how is it do you dread it and the drive home or would you consider it worth it? I have a couple offers from where I live but my dream job is an hour away.

TIA

I've had a number of different commutes, a couple of them were about an

hour away. I think it is definitely worth it, for a good job that works for you

as far as schedule, pay... and just being a job that you love, or think you will

love.

I drive 45 mins one way. I've always done a lot of driving so it doesn't bother me at all. I find the drive home is a good time to clear my head and I usually listen to a podcast or sing along to a decent radio station! The drive there is a different story sometimes... maybe I didn't get enough sleep and I'm just dreading the day!
