Nursing Informatics/Health Informatics topics

Hello,

I have a class that requires me to do a 10 minute presentation on nursing/health informatics but have had the worst block to think of a worth while topic. So, I wanted to ask the assistance of my fellow peers in suggesting something cutting edge or even solid to present to the class. I appreciate your help and keep your fingers crossed for me when I give my presentation. :)

So sorry to hear about your "block" related to a worth while nursing/health informatics topic to present on.

In an effort to NOT do your class work for you I'd suggest you just take a look at the numerous topics posted here and under dicsussion on this forum and make a choice.

Related to "cutting edge" how about ARRA, Meaningful Use, the EMR, certification of EMRs, CPOE............

That should be more than enough to get you started.
