NURSING IN ADELAIDE

World International

Published

Hi, I am a Registered Nurse from the Philippines. My family will be immigrating in Adelaide first quarter of 2010. We applied under the Provisional Visa subclass 475. With this visa, we are given the opportunity to stay and work in Adelaide for two years, and hopefully be granted with permanent visa if we satisfy the requirements set by the Department of Immigration and Citizenship. We are very excited and nervous as to what will happen to us once we are there. We have no relatives nor friends in Adelaide. Our concerns are our living accommodation and to look for a job. I am doing my research about Adelaide and got some useful ideas. I hope someone with a good heart will help us make our way in Adelaide. I visited the Nursing Board website of South Australia and downloaded the application form for Assessment of Internationally Educated Nurses. I will comply with the IELTS requirement and submit my application to the Nursing Board when we arrive in Adelaide. I understand that Filipino Nurses have to undergo a bridging course before granted a license to practice as a Registered Nurse in South Australia. I am praying that someone will guide me through this process. Can I also work as an assistant nurse?or practical nurse or caregiver in Adelaide for the meantime?what are the requirements for those jobs?Thank you so much for giving time to answer my concerns.God bless you all. God bless all the nurses:-)

still waiting for any reply....:crying2::crying2::crying2:
