I need help knowing how to study for my first fundamentals exam. I just finished up all of my pre req and graduated with an associates (general degree) with a 3.85 GPA. I feel like I am fairly intelligent, but I am LOST when it comes to knowing what information is important for the test. Can anyone help me by giving me areas to focus on? We are covering Davis Fundamentals of Nursing:Thinking, doing and caring. We are covering chapters 1 (Nursing Past and Present) 11 (Experiencing Health and Wellness) 44 (Ethics) and 45 (Law).

I've always thought fundamentals was a hard course because the questions always seemed so random.
I would definitely know major historical figures in nursing and their contribution to the profession.
Nursing code of ethics
informed consent and obtaining during emergency situation
principles of ethics
Standards of Nursing care
Governing bodies ect
