Hello all,
My name is Shawntel and I am a nursing student(LPN). This is my first time writing my own thread, so I am still new to this. I am in a 14 month LPN program in Richmond, Virginia. I am set to graduate in January 2012 and I can honestly say I can't wait. I passed all my class thus far and some I felt were difficult but I did it. I just do not want to fail especially if I have been doing good this long. I just started my clinical this past Friday. I am a current CNA now and I'm working while in school but it's part time. I can still get full time hours if I want to. I have a question related to the class I'm in now. I'm in Nursing 105 and what we do in there is alot of critical thinking and things of that nature. Now we are learning about Wounds and Burns (different types of bandages and all that). Our first test is next Wednesday. I want to know if there is anything specific I need to know about that. Because I feel like this lesson is a little too much in depth. What can I do to remember everything I need to without forgetting anything? Any advice is really helpful.

I would make 3x5 cards of the types of burns, wounds and banadages. Without knowing what the instructor wants you to know is kinda difficult to gauge how to study for the exam, but just make sure you know all the info for the exam.
HTH!
