Nursing Education Info

hi,

i did masters in biotechnology in india. i want to study nursing course in usa. i have few question/doubts regarding that. please let me know if your answers..

1. am i eligible for master degree(in nursing) in us?

2. which specialization if good for me, since i am from bio-tech field.

3. what is the total cost of nursing education here?

4. how many year course?

5. finally, can anybody explain me education system in usa? (what is credit hours?? etc etc)

Sorry about the late.. Initially, I thought nobody replied and I delayed in replaying..

Anyway, I live in Houston, Texas(US) and I am on H4 (dependent) visa. Not eligible for work and study. I think I can change my visa status once I got admitted into any college..

Regarding interests & goals, my ultimate goal is to work here.. since I heard and read about need for nurses and their pay here.. I want do nursing..

Please reply and I will make / change some decisions based on that.. If needed..
