nursing degree

Hello guys,

Im currently studying Nursing University in Egypt and i was looking forwards to get my degree from abroad as i dont know if my degree here would qualify me to work in Europe, i've been looking for universities in UK and i didnt mind to start over but i found out that its not allowed to this course this as this course is funded by (NHS) National Health Service and they only fund UK/EU students, and all universities dont accept self funded students for this course, i started looking in US but its very expensive tho i cant afford it !! I have an associate degree 2 yrs in nursing and 1 year work experience in the icu, I'm lost i cant think well, should i stay here and finish my degree im on the 5th semster or should i start over in another country. where should i go ?? i need your advice guys and if you need any more information just reply me ..

    Associate degree I think you will find is not accepted in the UK so think it may be the same for the rest of EU. If you go to another country to finish training you may find you have International fees to pay and is probably cheaper to stay in your home country for your training

    I already finished two years diploma and im currently enrolled at the university of nursing but my target is to work in Europe so i thought it would be better if i get the degree from there so it would be easier for me to find a job. Im not eligable to study in UK as i mentioned before so where would u recommend me to go to get my university degree, i dont mind paying fees, i was actually going to pay like 10 000 sterling per year to study in UK, all what im looking for is good degree which qualifies me to work in europe thats it ..

    I think you need to decide which country you want to train in and see what they require. They more than likely require you to be fluent in their language to be able to study and work. UK used to have the very occasional university that took International students for nursing however i think you will find £10,000 a year not enough and there are restrictions in working whilst studying and you generally have to provide proof of funds to support yourself when you apply for a student visa for the UK. Plus if you already have a diploma in nursing not sure what there is available to upgrade to degree that involves full time study
