Nursing classes for spring/summer 2011

Hey,

I am just finishing up first semester at Seneca/York doing the BScN. Now there isn't going to be a second semester this spring/summer. So I am looking to get some credits this summer.

HAP201 Anatomy and Physiology II

NUR203 Health and Healing: Health Assessment

PSY114 Introduction to Psychology II

XXXXXX General Education Option

That's what I have next for second semester. I know I can possibly get psychology and an elective somewhere but I don't know where. Can somebody give me a hand into finding where I can sign up for these classes?

And I know I will have to get an advanced standing so I am going to run it by my program co-coordinator before enrolling.

Your school advisor would be able to give you the most accurate, up to date suggestions.

yeah they told me to just call or check other schools websites.

not much help at all

You could ask if any of these would count towards your PA class.

hi

i know this does not apply to what you asked, but i am a high school student who received an acceptance to York's collaborative program with seneca and i just wanted to know what you thought of the program.

Not bad so far, the 6 courses may seem a lot at first but the material is not challenging at all, if you manage your time well and take the time to go over the material, you will be fine.

But I am saying for my case only as I spoke with other student in other semesters/sections and they say it's tough. I personally think my profs are trying to bell curve up because the students in my section are quite stupid, no simpler way to say it.

I'm getting A+ and A's. Class average is hovers around 75% for most of the classes, that is a B+ (I know for finals grades drop but not that much). So I'm assuming Seneca wants to retain their students so they don't transfer anywhere else as Seneca/York doesn't have a high reputation among nursing programs.

Have you heard anything about mcmaster's nursing program. I got accepted there too.

Not personally

thank you soo much for you help !

Come to Seneca if you want an easy A basically.

On the bright side, I got almost my first semester tuition/books covered by scholarships, bursaries and grants.

do u think at the end it matter whether a person goes to York or mcmaster? Or does it just depend on the CRNE

Going to directly to a university seems like the better option, so I would say you would have a better experience at mcmaster as you don't need to change schools.
