  1. Going to directly to a university seems like the better option, so I would say you would have a better experience at mcmaster as you don't need to change schools.
  2. Come to Seneca if you want an easy A basically. On the bright side, I got almost my first semester tuition/books covered by scholarships, bursaries and grants.
  3. Not bad so far, the 6 courses may seem a lot at first but the material is not challenging at all, if you manage your time well and take the time to go over the material, you will be fine. But I am saying for my case only as I spoke with other student in other semesters/sections and they say it's tough. I personally think my profs are trying to bell curve up because the students in my section are quite stupid, no simpler way to say it. I'm getting A+ and A's. Class average is hovers around 75% for most of the classes, that is a B+ (I know for finals grades drop but not that much). So I'm assuming Seneca wants to retain their students so they don't transfer anywhere else as Seneca/York doesn't have a high reputation among nursing programs.
  4. yeah they told me to just call or check other schools websites. not much help at all
  5. Hey, I am just finishing up first semester at Seneca/York doing the BScN. Now there isn't going to be a second semester this spring/summer. So I am looking to get some credits this summer. Link to seneca > curriculum: http://www.senecac.on.ca/fulltime/BSCN.html HAP201 Anatomy and Physiology II NUR203 Health and Healing: Health Assessment PSY114 Introduction to Psychology II XXXXXX General Education Option That's what I have next for second semester. I know I can possibly get psychology and an elective somewhere but I don't know where. Can somebody give me a hand into finding where I can sign up for these classes? And I know I will have to get an advanced standing so I am going to run it by my program co-coordinator before enrolling.
  6. It would help if everyone posted their top-6 average along with the school they got accepted to. I got in last year at Seneca/York - BSCN - with a ~77 avg
  7. will it be paid or un paid?
  8. K thanks everyone looks like the school doesn't like it, but hospitals are somewhat okay with it.
  9. I applied for bscn to various college/universities but would like to know what's the rule on tattoos? I got a half sleeve on my right arm, the tattoo stops before the elbow so forearm has nothing on it. Must I conceal it? If you guys are wondering what the tattoo is, it's a Koi which wraps around my arm with lotus leaves
