I am going for nursing at ivy tech and one day hope to transfer to get a bachelors degree. I need chemistry and I am horrible at science. Does anyone know if chem 101 transfers. Or should I take chem 111 or chem115?

I am in chem 101 right now for ivy tech so I dont see how that wouldn't transfer if that is the same class that they offer? Chem 101 has made me cry already, I cant imagine taking anything higher !!

I might have misunderstood your post though, I think you meant now that you wondered if chem 101 transferred out. In which case I believe someone told me it would but that microbiology was a more accepted one to transfer....

I dont even know if chemistry is needed for nursing because for ivy tech it says pick two of the following, i am currently in microbiology and the other two options are chemistry and the other is advanced physiology i just dont know uggg

For me it was the same I think. You can pick chem or micro to take with Advanced Phys, or do chem and micro but not advanced phys. I WANTED to take micro and 202 and avoid chem but micro wasnt offered online, and my sister in law who did the LPN to ASN (I think, not entirely sure yet) told me I SHOULD do advanced chem because I will need it later if and when I do the bridge from ASN to BSN(at ivy tech) and she wished she had chosen to do it already.
