Hi- I'm enrolled at Indiana State University and have until Nov 1 to complete my 4 nursing challenge exams and the teas exam. Has anyone taken these? Are the tests difficult? Is 2 months a realistic amount of time to get these done? A couple of the modules are very long. If I read them but don't study hard per se, will I have a good chance of passing? I'm just trying to figure out if I should put my life on hold for 2 months to bust these out so I can start the LPN-BSN program in January. Otherwise, I have to wait to start in a year from now. Thank you to anyone who can help me out.

The only exam I can comment about is the TEAS test. Really, the test is at a high school level. Math doesn’t go beyond Basic Algebra, the Science section is general, the reading is self explanatory, and you will have a grammar section. Brush up on sentence structures. So, I wouldn’t spend a lot of time studying for the TEAS unless you feel weak in some of these skills.
As for the other exams, I am not sure, but would like to hear someone else’s take on it.
Thank you for your reply.

If you are able to put your life on hold and devote every waking moment to studying for these tests, I would try to do it. That is a year out of your life that you would be giving yourself for a few weeks of intense effort. Well worth it in my mind.
