Hello all, Im a new member and I need some advice from experienced Nurses. I am deciding between nursing school and lab science as my career. I've been having a tough time deciding because I like the science of laboratory but I don't want to be working in a little area all by myself sitting all day. I thought nursing would be a good career because there is some science and I would be able to work with other people. My work personality is I love to work hard and move around, I like to make friends at my place of work, I don't get queasy when it comes to blood and guts, I have a pretty strong integrity, and I love to make people laugh and feel better.
I guess my downfalls are that I am bluntly honest with the people I know personally and that I can be pretty clumsy (especially with lack of sleep).
Is nursing my thing? I've been confused for so long my heart feels worn out. I just want to make sure I won't be miserable in this job. Many friends and family say they could see me in a lab more than nursing, but I just have a bad gut feeling about that.
