Nursing Career Pathway Advice

Published

Hi guys,

I need help to choose the pathway to become a RN. I am a housewife and currently working as healthcare assistant, I want to study and take step by step ladder along with my work. Where should i start from so that i can study as well as earn?

Thankyou

Have you considered going for your LPN first? It's very do-able, with many programs only ~ 12 months long and some are even shorter. Afterward, you could do a "bridge" program to obtain your RN. This route may be a bit slower, but easier to accomplish - especially since you have to deal with your "Mom" workload also.
