Getting MSN in Hawaii, but moving back to California??

  1. I just got accepted into an ELMSN program in Hawaii, but I live in California and I am trying to decide whether I should make the exciting move or wait to hear back from one California school. I REALLY want to move, but after school, I will most definitely be moving back to California. Does anyone know how difficult/easy it is to become a registered nurse in California and find a job, once I've taken the NCLEX and received my MSN degree in Hawaii?? Please share your experiences.

Based on the reaction of hiring managers to ELMSNs in my area of the country, you may have an even more difficult time getting a job as a new grad (than the BSNs) & that situation is already very difficult in CA right now.
