nursing assessment before interview

Published

Hi everyone. I had a phone interview last night, then completed their online personality type assessment. HR said she would review my online questionnaire and if I passed, she would schedule an interview. I spoke with her this morning, and she said I passed. I have an in person interview scheduled for Monday. She said at 12pm, I would take a nursing assessment, and at 1, I would have the interview. Does anyone know what this nursing assessment might entail? It is a position for a skilled nursing facility.

The ones I've experienced are videos or paragraph descriptions of a scenario and you respond with what would you do. If you have prior experience, the scenarios are a bit more challenging but hardly. It's nothing you shouldn't know... they're more like medical emergencies and the facility wants to be sure that: if you see a patient is flatlining, you'll check the leads, check for responsiveness, check a pulse, call for help, and begin compressions. I dunno what kind of scenarios there may be for a SNF but I hope you got my drift.
