I would concentrate more on contacting hospitals directly, as you will see almost no NICU jobs with the agencies for foreign-trained nurses.
Which part of Ohio are you interested in? And what type of NICU experience? Not sure if you have the different levels in your country as we do.......open heart and neuro experience? ECMO? Types of ventilators that you have used? Are you able to insert umbilical catheters, just to give me an idea of the skills that you already have.
Hi again Suzanne,we have different levels of NICU in Lebanon like in the American University Hospital in Beirut and Hotel dieu De France Hospital. Our assignment is given as acuity level ,but we don't have ECMO yet.I have been working abroad in Riyadh too.I can insert IV ,withdraw blood sample and take CBG'S.Care of intubated baby with High Frequency and all other ventilations modes(CPAP,IMVand SIMV),the ventilators are(Drager babylog 8000 plus ,blue bird, star ,..).Also taking care of baby under phototherapy, with diaphragmatic hernia ,with cardiac defects, trisomic babies with ET fistula, inserting NG'S and all kind of feeding ,Nasal CPAP ,o2 blender, assissting Doctor during exchange transfusion, while inserting central line ,percutanous line ,umbilical line ,arterial line and intubation and baby under nitric oxide ,of couse giving medication, blood transfusion.Care of baby with chest tube.I am not a practitioner nurse just RN with ACLS and NRP.

I would not even begin to look for a recruiter or facility until after you have passed NCLEX. There is nothing that can be done before then.............no one will offer a position until they can see exam results. Plus they cannot submit any petition for you until they can also submit the results to immigration.
