So I am a senior in high school looking to become a nursing student in the fall. I plan on applying to Alfred State in New York. I know it's pretty late in the school year but they have a rolling deadline so I can apply anytime. For their nursing AAS program they require algebra, bio and chem, but I did not take chem in high school. They always require prereqs such as A and P and micro. If I didn't take chem in high school would i be turned down from the program, or would i be able to take chem along with my prereqs?

They can answer the questions definitively- but it seems reasonable that they would let you take chem as a college-level prerequisite.

It looks like you take A&P along with Nursing 1, rather than as a pre-req. And since the admission requirements include chemistry, that would need to be completed prior to entering and probably prior to applying because they're basing their decision on your grades in those courses. You should talk to admissions about taking chemistry over the summer. Maybe they're consider your application for the fall if you had chemistry in progress. Otherwise, you'd probably have to wait until Spring 2019 to start the nursing program.
Do you need to go to school full-time for financial aid? If you don't, you could take chemistry and freshman comp. over the summer, and then take General Psychology and A&P I in the fall. That would put you in good shape to focus on nursing in the spring; taking A&P along with the nursing courses can be tough.
