In response to the looming national concerns over the expected shortage of nursing personnel and to assist in hospital nursing retention and recruitment efforts, Underwood-Memorial Hospital President and Chief Executive officer, Steven W. Jackmuff recently announced a three-phase education assistance program benefiting Registered Nurses employed by or choosing to seek employment with the Woodbury based hospital.
A generous scholarship and tuition reimbursement program is being offered to students studying for a career in nursing and who choose to make a minimum two-year commitment to working at UMH. This initiative will provide up to $8000 toward the individual candidate's RN or BSN (bachelor science, nursing) degree. Call 856-853-2011 for more information.
