I just recently got back from an amazing trip to Africa and have decided to re-adjust my nursing school plan. I just finished my freshman year at Baylor University, and it's almost time to start applying for nursing schools. I would love to get your feedback...
1) Are there any options of getting a BSN abroad?
2) If not, what are some good nursing schools in laid back, outdoorsy towns?

Nursing is a culturally bound profession. The scope of practice, span of authority, course of study, etc. can vary significantly between nations. For instance, US programs are designed to prepare nurse generalists, while other countries may be geared to produce graduates prepared for practice on a specific clinical area - such as women's health or pediatrics. Graduates from non-US countries/territories who seek licensure in the US must go through a complex process in order to be eligible to take NCLEX.
