I am fairly new to traveling and only have traveled with one company but would like to find out more...I am currently talking with Nurses RX but have not found anyone that has traveled with them in the past...I would like to hear others experiences before I make a decision.

Hello and Welcome to Allnurses.com
TravelNurse88
Hi,
I have traveled with Nurses RX for the past 4 years and had all positive experiences. I took an apartment in Miami Beach and it was great (private one bedroom, ocean view, accepted my two dogs and I didn't pay a dime for any bills). Now, I don't need the housing and just take the housing subsidy. Everything is clearly written in my contract ( bonuses, travel expenses reimbursed and contract hours). I find them very polite on the phone, organized and payroll is also very organized. I have called and applied at other agencies several years ago but found they were full of promises and had limited jobs.

Hi I am with Nurses Rx and was wondering what recruiter you are with? They defently are not mine! I don't want to have to change companies so I was wondering if you like your recruiter?? and if you could give me any info?? Do you feel like they are being honest with you? Have you noticed anything shady about your recruiter? How long have you been traveling? Have you been to california? I am there now and love it so far. But would love to go to flordia some winter, but I have heard bad things about flordia and travel nurses. Ok so I have a lot of ? . Sorry thanks. have a nice night. thanks for any info. that you could give..

I thought my first NursesRX recruiter was pretty shady. Because of him, I've been stiffed out of a recruiting bonus. My GF forgot to put my name on her application, but the recruiter (we had the same one) said he would fix it. (Yes, we goofed, but he assured her multiple, multiple time he would take care of it and it would be paid. It was never put in writting.)
To make a long story short, they won't honor it unless she signs with them again (don't think that will happen) and they will put MY BONUS on HER check for her to give to me!!!!????
Needless to say, that's JUNK!! It's MY BONUS. Everytime my recruiter calls me (different one now), I tell her I want my bonus. I haven't heard from her in about 6 months. Go figure........
Rule of Thumb..... Make sure EVERYTHING is in WRITTING!!!!!!

I recently worked with a girl who is signed up with NursesRX. She spoke highly of the company and said the housing was awesome. She also said that her recruiter was good about getting her where she wanted to go next. I plan to sign up with them next summer after I have 1 year acute care experience.
I wonder who her recruiter is?? Mine is awful, other travel nurses have heard how bad she is. I know that we cannot put names on the internet , however I am really enjoying travel nursing but would do almost anything to have a better relationship with my recruiter. Good luck to you, its an awesome experience, if thats what your traveling for!! I can surely give you the name of a recruiter not to go with...ha ha
I have to apoligize, I do not know how to send a private message?? Isn't that sad?? ha ha. However I want to let you know her name.
I love traveling, you sound like that type of person that would enjoy traveling also. The money issue is one reason that you have a recruiter that you TRUST above all else. That relationship plays a big role in your experience. So good luck..
